Service Description
In this class participants will create a sampler of commonly used embroidery stitches. This class is the first in a series of three beginner level classes that will cover most common embroidery stitches. In this class (part 1) you will learn about basic embroidery supplies. You will create a sampler of up to 10 different stitches including running stitch, back stitch, split stitch, cross stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, seed stitch, lazy daisy, and French knot. Each class can work as a stand-alone class, there is no requirement to take all three classes. This class is suitable for people with no embroidery experience. All supplies needed in class will be provided. You will take home a hoop and needle so that you can continue to practice at home. This class is best suited to participants age 16 and older. Hot tea and water are always available but you are welcome to BYOB and snacks.
